Residents living on a local housing estate have noted that the new sports hub, intended to serve the community, appears to be sitting idle. Lee Tyrrell, a local resident, commented on the lack of progress regarding the site's opening.

Speaking to the BBC, Mr Tyrrell noted that while the building appears to be a high-quality facility, there has been no visible activity or indication of an opening date. He stated:

"It looks like a very nice facility - I haven't seen anything done with it since I moved in."
